Comfort ISD Section 504 Handbook

The purpose of this handbook is to outline Comfort ISD’s process and procedures for serving students with disabilities under Section 504. The information contained within the handbook should serve as a resource to parents regarding the provisions of Section 504 and equal access for students with disabilities. It contains general information and is not intended to address all unique and specific circumstances a student or parent may encounter or to constitute legal advice and should not be relied upon as such. For specific details regarding referral, eligibility and equal access to the district’s programs and activities, parents are encouraged and invited to contact their school’s 504 Coordinator.
